Ready to sharpen your showmanship skills before the show season? Join us for a hands-on clinic designed to help exhibitors build confidence in the ring and improve their presentation with both sheep and goats! Open to 4-H and FFA exhibitors and parents.

Join the Llano Estacado Texas Master Naturalists this Saturday at Sibley Pond for a fun and educational celebration of dragonflies and damselflies. This event is open to the public and perfect for kids and adults of all ages.
Weβll explore the life cycles of dragonflies and damselflies, practice netting and safe handling, and release them back into their habitat.
Join us this Saturday to celebrate dragonflies and damselflies at Sibley Pond. The public is welcome and this is suitable for kids of all ages. We will be talking about the life cycles of dragonflies & damselflies, netting, safely handling, and releasing dragonflies and damselflies, and doing an iNaturalist BioBlitz documenting as many dragons and damsels as possible over the weekend of Aug. 8-9. π§ Water Matters Conference is THIS THURSDAY!
Itβs almost time for the Water Matters Conference! If you are planning to have your well water screened, here are the important details you need to know:
π§ WATER SAMPLE DROP-OFF
Tomorrow, Wednesday, August 5 | 11:00 a.m. β 1:00 p.m.
You can drop off your water sample at either:
π Midland County Extension Office

Midland, TX 79706
π Ector County Extension Office
1010 E. 8th St.
Odessa, TX
OR
You can bring your sample Thursday morning at 8:30 a.m. when you arrive for the Water Matters Conference at:
π Ector County Coliseum, Barn G
π² Registration is $35 and includes lunch + 1 well water screening.
Additional screenings are $15 each.
π³ Payment can be made by credit card or check.
Important Sample Collection Reminder
Please collect 12β16 oz. of water as close to the well source as possible. Use a clean bottle or glass jar with a tight-fitting lid. Keep the sample cool after collection, and samples should be collected no more than 12 hours before drop-off.
If you are testing water after it has gone through a reverse osmosis (RO) system, please collect a separate sample from the RO tap.
