Congrats to Alex on earning a superior rating and outstanding performer at TSSEC for his solo performance! We are so proud of you! 👏🏼
Of all the students that advance to and compete at state, only 2% earn this honor. Alex earned this award his sophomore year as well, so he now has two of these medals! 🏅
We are excited to send you off to college and know you will do great things! Congrats on a great three years at WTMA! Alex has studied voice with Justine Falch at WTMA and plans to study music in college this fall. 🎶

We are celebrating our 15th year of providing quality music education to West Texas students. On June 13, 2011, West Texas Music Academy opened in the original 8th street location. At that time, we employed 5 part-time teachers and provided both private lessons and vocal ensembles.

Blakely! Sing your heart out.
🎭🌸 Meet the Cast of Alice in Wonderland Jr.! 🌸🎭
Say hello to Blakely Sims, who you’ll see on stage as Lily!
Blakely will be heading into 4th grade this fall, and she’s excited to spend her summer at camp growing as a performer and helping put on an amazing show. One of her favorite things about theater is getting to make new friends, have fun, and create something special together.
A fun fact about Blakely? She’s been all the way to New Zealand! 🌎✈️
When rehearsal breaks roll around, you’ll probably find her snacking on Goldfish Blasted. She also has a pretty impressive party trick—she can put her legs behind her head! 🤸♀️
If she could only eat one food for the rest of her life, the answer came quickly: steak! In her words, “I love steak!” 🥩
And if a theme song played every time she walked into a room, Blakely says it would definitely be “Party in the U.S.A.” 🎶🇺🇸
We’re so excited to have Blakely as part of our Alice in Wonderland Jr. cast. Her enthusiasm, energy, and love of making new friends help make camp such a fun place to be!
✨ Be sure to cheer for Blakely when she takes the stage as Lily! ✨

Woo hoo!!! Reese!
🎩🌹 Meet The Cast of Alice in Wonderland Jr. 🐇🎩
Say hello to Reese Daniels, who will be bringing plenty of flower power and personality to the stage as Rose in Alice in Wonderland Jr.! 🌹
Reese will be heading into 6th grade next year and is most excited about spending time with friends and having fun at camp. You might think the wildest things are found in Wonderland, but Reese has a fun fact that could fit right in, she has a giraffe at her ranch. Yes, a real giraffe.🦒✨
When she’s not at camp, there’s a good chance you’ll find her enjoying some Cheez-Its, showing off her ability to do a clover tongue, or eating noodles, which she says she could happily eat for the rest of her life.
If Reese had a theme song, she’d make every entrance with “Best of Both Worlds” by Hannah Montana playing in the background. 🎵
What Reese loves most about theater is the chance to become someone completely different and step into another world for a while. That’s one of the many reasons she’s such a wonderful addition to our Wonderland cast!
Be sure to catch Reese and the rest of our talented cast as they bring Alice in Wonderland Jr. to life next weekend. It’s a journey down the rabbit hole you won’t want to miss! 🌹🐇✨

Ava! Congrats.
Meet the Cast of Alice in Wonderland Jr.!
Say hello to Ava Baeza, our mischievous Cheshire Cat #1!
Ava will be heading into 7th grade this fall and is loving every minute of bringing this curious and clever cat to life. What excites her most about camp? Celebrating all the hard work with her castmates after the final performance!
When she’s not grinning from ear to ear as the Cheshire Cat, Ava can be found playing the piano, snacking on Hot Cheetos, or showing off her “totally useless” talent of baking. (We strongly disagree that feeding people delicious treats is useless!)
If Ava could only eat one food for the rest of her life, she’d happily survive on grapes, and if she had a personal soundtrack, “UP!” by Forrest Frank would be playing wherever she went.
Ava loves the opportunity to work hard, grow as a performer, and share the stage with her fellow cast members. Be sure to keep an eye out for her disappearing and reappearing throughout Wonderland! 🐱✨
