🌳🍂✨ We’re going IN THE TREES this month! ✨🍂🌳

Our classrooms are busy exploring, wondering, and discovering everything that makes trees such a special part of our world! Our teachers have been creating fun, hands-on experiences that bring our inquiry to life using real nature materials found right here in our own neighborhood. 🍃🐿️🪵

From collecting and examining leaves, sticks, acorns, and other natural treasures to exploring the animals that call trees home, our children are getting the chance to touch, observe, investigate, and learn through hands-on experiences. 🐦🐛🍁

We love watching our little explorers turn everyday pieces of nature into opportunities for big questions, creative play, and meaningful learning! 💚🌳 There is SO much to discover when you stop, look up, and explore what’s growing all around you! 🔎✨

💗 THAT’S ME OPEN HOUSE — PART 3! 💗

After our families explored our classrooms and admired the amazing “All About Me” posters created by our students, it was time to head into our Exploratorium for the most hands-on part of our Open House! 🎉🧠✨

Our families were invited to explore, discover, and get hands-on with some of the exciting concepts our children learned about throughout our “That’s Me” inquiry! From creating our very own bones 🦴 and exploring our senses 👀👃👂👅🖐️, to discovering how our bodies work and what makes each of us unique, there was so much to see, do, and explore!

The Exploratorium gave our families the opportunity to experience learning right alongside their children. Families could jump into activities, ask questions, make discoveries, and see firsthand how much fun learning about ourselves can be! 💕 It was so much fun seeing everyone exploring the different stations, trying something new, and sharing these special learning moments together.

Our “That’s Me” inquiry was all about discovering our bodies, our senses, our feelings, and the unique things that make each of us who we are. Our hands-on Exploratorium was the perfect way to bring all of that learning together in one exciting experience! 🌟

Thank you to all of our amazing families for joining us, getting hands-on, and making our “That’s Me” Open House such a special event! We hope you had just as much fun exploring as we did! 🥰💗

🦁 Meet Our Lions Teachers! 🦁

We are so excited to shine the spotlight on our amazing Lions teaching team — Ms. Makayla, Ms. Allana, and Ms. Sam! 💕 These three teachers each bring something so special to their classroom, creating a space filled with meaningful learning, fun, and strong connections with their students!

🎨 Ms. Makayla is AMAZING at engaging her students through enriching play! She loves jumping into their world, playing alongside them, and turning everyday moments into opportunities for learning and exploration. Her fun and playful personality makes her classroom a place where kiddos feel comfortable, excited, and ready to learn!

Fun Fact! Ms. Makayla has been part of our Creative World family for 3 years! 💗 She is also a proud mama to two girls and is getting ready to welcome her third baby girl! 👶🏼🎀 And if you know Ms. Makayla, you know she LOVES Disney! 🏰✨

💗 Ms. Allana has such a special gift for building strong bonds with her students! Even though she has only been part of our Creative World family for a few months, she has already created meaningful connections with her kiddos and become such an important part of their classroom experience. She brings a warm and caring presence to the Lions and makes sure her students feel seen, supported, and loved!

📚 Ms. Sam is our curriculum superstar! She has been part of our Creative World family for 3 years and does an amazing job creating curriculum that follows our inquiry approach while keeping learning hands-on, exciting, and engaging for our students! She knows how to take the questions and interests of her kiddos and turn them into meaningful learning experiences that keep them curious and excited to discover more! 🔎✨

Together, Ms. Makayla, Ms. Allana, and Ms. Sam make such an incredible team! From enriching play and meaningful connections to hands-on inquiry experiences, they create a Lions classroom where children can learn, explore, play, and grow every day! 🦁💕

You can always find Ms. Adrianna with her beautiful big smile, giving her babies the sweetest hugs, endless love, and lots of cuddles! 🥰💗 She brings so much warmth and happiness to our infant room, and we are so lucky to have her!

The fun continues! 🎨✨ Our classrooms created their very own All About Me posters and transformed their spaces into an adorable All About Me Gallery! 🖼️🥰

Our children had so much fun showing off what makes them unique! From creating their own self-portraits to sharing who they are, what they love, and what makes them special, each child had the opportunity to celebrate the most important person in the room… THEMSELVES! 💕✨

We loved seeing all of the creativity, personality, and individuality shine through each and every poster. No two children are exactly alike, and our All About Me Gallery was the perfect way to celebrate all of the wonderful things that make each of our little learners YOU-niquely them! 🌈🖍️💗

We had such an exciting day celebrating our children and all the amazing things they bring to our Creative World! 🥰

Our That’s Me Inquiry may be wrapping up, but the fun isn’t over! 🎉 Our classrooms were challenged to decorate their doors with one of their most exciting and favorite activities from our month of learning! 🚪🎨🧠

From exploring our bodies and feelings to discovering what makes each of us unique, our teachers and kiddos got creative and brought their learning to life! 💕✨

💕✨ 9/25 on 9/25 — It’s Dolly Day! ✨💕

Today, our Creative World Starkey Ranch family came together for a little extra fun as we celebrated 9 to 5 on 9/25 and honored the one and only Dolly Parton! 🎀 We invited our kiddos to dress up like Dolly and spend the day celebrating her message of kindness, love, confidence, and believing in yourself.

Our classrooms planned special activities inspired by Dolly, with a focus on kindness, creativity, and spreading a little extra joy! 💕 Our Pandas enjoyed a close reading of Coat of Many Colors and then put their own creative spin on the story by designing their very own coats of many colors! 🌈🧥

Over in the Exploratorium, our friends got to design their own beautiful butterflies, inspired by Dolly’s love of butterflies! 🦋 Each classroom found its own special way to bring a little Dolly magic into the day.

And, of course, we couldn’t celebrate Dolly Day without showing some love to our incredible teachers! Each teacher received a little “Cup of Ambition” to keep them fueled throughout the day. ☕💕 A little caffeine, a little ambition, and a whole lot of appreciation for the amazing work they do!

Our school was filled with big hair, sparkles, butterflies, colorful creations, smiles, and so much kindness. It was the sweetest reminder that we can all make the world a little brighter by sharing kindness wherever we go.

As Dolly says, “If you see someone without a smile, give them yours.” 💗

And today our school was filled with smiles! 🦋

💛 September CW Cares!💛

This month, our Creative World family came together for a very special CW Cares Spirit Night at KSplitz Creamery! Our school was covered in yellow as students, teachers, and families wore yellow to show their support for Childhood Cancer Awareness Month. 💛

It was such a special evening filled with sweet treats, big smiles, and an even bigger purpose! We are so grateful to everyone who stopped by, wore their yellow, and helped us turn a fun night out into an opportunity to make a difference for children and families affected by childhood cancer.

We are so excited to share that 100% of the proceeds from our Spirit Night will be donated to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, helping support their incredible work for children and families. 💛

Thank you, Creative World families, for always showing up, supporting one another, and reminding us that even small acts of kindness can make a BIG difference! We are so proud of our CW family! ✨
