🚨Color Run Q&A:

All proceeds benefit the kids, school & teachers!

Q: What time will my child run?
A: Please refer to the schedule that was posted for exact times.

Q: Will there be concessions?
A: Yes! We’ll have a concession stand. Please send a little extra money if your child wants snacks or extra color packets. (CASH ONLY)

Q: Can parents attend?
A: Absolutely! Parents are welcome to come cheer on the kids.

Q: Can we check our child out early?
A: Yes. After your child finishes running, you can check them out at the designated station if you’d like to start your weekend early.

Q: When will my child receive their package?
A: All packages will be delivered to classrooms so kids have them on Friday.

Q: What if my child doesn’t pay to run?
A: No worries—they’ll hang out in the gym and enjoy a movie with chaperones.

Q: What should my child bring?
A: A bottle of water and a towel are recommended—it might get a little messy!

Q: What happens after they run?
After the run, there’s some free play time to shake off the color and then they’ll return to class. Just remember, Friday is a half-day with dismissal at 11:40

It’s almost color run day!!!

We’re doing a flash sale for the Color Run. If you haven’t grabbed your child’s package yet, you still have a chance on Wednesday and Thursday. For just $10, your child can join in the run this Friday.

Just a heads-up that the $10 is for participating in the run itself. Color packets will be available separately at the concession stand $10 each or two for $15. Just send the $10 with your child on by Friday and they’ll hand it to their teacher.

And the best part? All proceeds go right back to the kids’ school and to supporting our amazing teachers. Thanks so much for helping us make this event awesome!

Our Valentine’s Dance was a huge success, and we’re still smiling about it! Thank you to all the students who came out to celebrate, dance, and make memories with us. The kids looked amazing, the dance floor stayed busy, and the love was definitely in the air! 🥰

A huge shoutout to our amazing volunteers and PTA team who made this event happen from setup to cleanup, decorations to check-in. We couldn’t do this without you! And thank you to everyone who helped support our school and our students by coming out and participating.

Today is National Law Enforcement Appreciation Day and our PTA had the honor of surprising our very own Officer Henegar with a small basket of some of his favorite things as a simple and heartfelt thank you. We are so grateful for Officer H and the dedication, care, and presence he brings to our campus every day to help keep our Blanton kiddos safe.

We are thankful not only for Officer H, but for all law enforcement officers in our district and everywhere. If you see an officer today, please take a moment to say thank you and let them know how much they are appreciated.

Its picture time! First, we would like to say we are incredibly grateful to The G’s Media Photography & Film for generously volunteering their time and equipment to make this holiday photo fundraiser possible for Blanton. Because of their kind support, 100% of proceeds from the holiday pictures goes directly to our school.

Second, we are aware that a small number of students may have been missed during picture day, and we truly apologize. If you paid and your child does not appear in the gallery, we will gladly refund your $10 once we return from holiday break, using our payment list or a receipt if needed. As we are unable to offer retakes, a refund is the best way for us to make this right. We are not trying to keep anyone’s money.

Due to illness and limited volunteers, this event was run by a team of two people, when it is normally managed by six or more. We did our very best to coordinate a large fundraiser with limited help, and we sincerely appreciate your patience and understanding.

For future events, we kindly ask that one payment be submitted per child, whether paying online or with cash. Each sibling must have their own payment so we can stay organized.

Thank you for supporting Blanton through PTA. Volunteers truly make events like this possible, and we are always grateful for helping hands.

The Penguin Patch is Open! 🐧🎁

We’re excited to let you know that our Penguin Patch Holiday Shop fundraiser kicks off TODAY!

During your child’s library time, they’ll have the chance to shop for special holiday gifts for family and friends. It’s a fun and affordable way for them to pick out little surprises on their own. (Parents will NOT be allowed to shop with their student)

Please remind your kids to bring a little spending money if they’d like to participate. All proceeds support our school’s PTA projects! Prices range from $0.50 to $15

We’re excited to let you know that Christmas photos by The G’s Media Photography & Film are happening this Friday! For just $10, each child will receive two digital photos.

All proceeds will go directly to supporting our PTA.

Just a couple of quick notes: No sibling photos or retakes will be offered, and all photos will be sent out digitally via Class Dojo.

You can send $10 with your child to give to their teacher, or purchase online if that’s easier for you. Let me know if you have any questions at all!
