Today, the students of the Latina Entrepreneur Academy had the opportunity to attend an outstanding leadership presentation focused on the 5 Pillars of Effective Leadership: Self-Awareness, Vision, Communication, Ex*****on, and Multiplication.
These principles reminded us that leadership is not about titles—it’s about influence, clarity, accountability, service, and developing others. We learned that effective leadership begins with understanding ourselves, creating a clear vision, communicating with purpose, executing with discipline, and ultimately multiplying our impact by helping others grow.
A special thank you to Gitsy Vasquez for inviting our class and providing this valuable learning opportunity. Your commitment to empowering others through education, leadership development, and community engagement continues to make a lasting difference.

WEEK 3 IS HAPPENING RIGHT NOW
Odessa Bible Church is FULL of mujeres ready to grow today. The Latina Entrepreneur Academy is in full session and the energy is unreal.

WEEK 2 REWIND — AND WHAT A WEEK IT WAS
Last Saturday, our Latina Entrepreneur Academy room at Odessa Bible Church was OVERFLOWING with energy, ambition, and heart. Not only did our cohort show up STRONG — we welcomed 8 new women into the LEA family! We are now 35 mujeres deep, and the room felt it.
HERE'S WHAT WE COVERED:
Lucy Sisniega of S&S Commercial Real Estate kicked off the morning with "Leadership: From Dreams to Results." Lucy — a Permian Basin trailblazer with over $60M in closed transactions — showed our ladies how to take their dreams and turn them into measurable goals. The room was on FIRE.
Carmen Hinostroza taught "Time Management for a Small Business." Real tools, real strategies, real talk about how protecting your time protects your business AND your peace.
Gitsy Vásquez, Director of the BEDC at Midland College, closed out the morning with "Speak with Confidence & Position Your Business" — and had EACH ONE of our mujeres deliver a 30-second elevator pitch. Watching them find their voice was unforgettable.
To Lucy, Carmen, and Gitsy — thank you for pouring your wisdom, your time, and your hearts into our cohort. You are mentors, role models, and living proof of what is possible.
And to my LEA mujeres — every single one of you who showed up: gracias. Gracias por presentarse. Gracias por sus sueños. Gracias por confiar en este programa. Ustedes son la razón por la que existe esta academia.
