We kicked off the school year with another successful Back to School Night this evening at Kingdom Kare Childcare Center! 📓🎒

Families had the chance to come in and meet our wonderful teachers, connect with other parents, and learn more about our program, curriculum, and all the exciting things we have planned for the year ahead. Our teachers set up engaging activities for both parents and children, and the turnout was great!

A heartfelt thank you to all of our families and for joining us and to our dedicated teachers for creating such a welcoming and informative night. We appreciate you all so much!

This summer, Man Up Anne Arundel is taking 10 local youth to Six Flags for a day filled with fun, connection, and positive community building.

For our young people, experiences like this are about more than a day at an amusement park. They’re opportunities to build relationships, create positive memories, experience something new, and continue developing into strong, well-rounded young adults.

Today we had a special visit from Short Chef LLC, and our friends had the best time cooking apple donuts together! The excitement, the smiles, and the sweet smells filled the whole room! 🧑‍🍳

Cooking with children brings wonderful benefits like building confidence, encouraging healthy food exploration, and supporting early math and science skills. Experiences like this help them learn, grow, and have fun all at once.

We loved having Short Chef LLC with us today and can’t wait for the next cooking adventure next week!🍎🍩

Last Thursday, our preschoolers took their classroom learning on planting and growing out into the real world with a wonderful visit to Sharp’s at Waterford Farm! Since they have been learning about seeds, roots, and plant life cycles, this field trip couldn’t have been a better match. 🌱🌾

During their visit, the children enjoyed a combination of the Farm Animal Tour and the Spring Is Growing experience. They fed and learned about each farm animal and took a hayride through beautiful Cattail Creek. During the Spring Is Growing Tour, they discovered the parts of a seed, how roots and leaves grow, and how each part of a plant helps it function. A greenhouse tour gave them the chance to see plants at different stages of growth, and every child got to pot their very own plant to take home. It was a perfect extension of what they’ve been learning in class!

To top off an already exciting day, the children wrapped up their adventure with a fun scavenger hunt around the farm, exploring, observing, and enjoying the outdoors together.

We are so proud of how curious and engaged our preschoolers were throughout the entire trip. Hands‑on experiences like this help bring learning to life in the most meaningful ways! 💜

Yesterday was a major day for Kingdom Kare!

We proudly completed our official ITERS-3 Observation and our unannounced annual licensing inspection, all in the SAME day! We passed with flying colors with ZERO non-compliances! ✅

This accomplishment is a direct reflection of the dedication, professionalism, teamwork, and heart that our staff brings every single day. From our Kingdom Kare Childcare Center Team to our incredible Family Support Team, thank you for your commitment to excellence and for consistently showing up for our children and families.
