🏐 Congratulations to the JV Blue Devil volleyball team. They are the 2026 Oconto JV Invitational Champions. The girls swept Menominee Nation, Peshtigo and Bonduel.

Good luck to ⛳ girls golf at Vernon Hills, 🏐 JV2 Volleyball at Luxemburg-Casco, 👟Cross Country at Chief K in Fish Creek and 🏈 Varsity Football at Chilton tomorrow (Thursday, August 27).

🏐 Congratulations to Coach Wusterbarth and the varsity Blue Devil volleyball team on their 2026 Oconto Invitational Championship. The team didn't lose a set against Manawa, Valders, Menominee Nation and Mishicot.

🏐 Best of luck to the JV girls in their home Invitational tomorrow (Wednesday) at 2:00 p.m.

The varsity girls golf team took 3rd place today in a Bay Conference event at Crystal Springs, hosted by Seymour. The younger players and coaches want to give a huge shout out to our Seniors: Evelynn, Kendra, Marley and Robbi. Thank you for your dedication and making each day fun.

The Blue Devils host a Varsity and JV full meet (10 teams) tomorrow and a mini meet (5 teams) on Thursday. Both events are at Vernon Hills at 9:00 a.m.

🎉 Welcome to OUSD, Rebecca Christenson! 🎉

We’re excited to welcome Rebecca Christenson to the Blue Devil family! 💙💛

Rebecca is from Oconto Falls and comes to OUSD after attending the University of Wisconsin–River Falls. She is most excited about getting to know and working with our students this year!

Rebecca has an older sister and brother and is also a proud puppy owner. 🐶 In her free time, she enjoys reading, coloring, and playing video games. She also loves doing messy crafts with her niece. Another fun fact about Rebecca is that she loves sharks, especially hammerhead sharks! 🦈

Rebecca is quite the sports fan, cheering for the Packers, Brewers, Bucks, Minnesota Wild, and McLaren in Formula 1. Her favorite movie is How to Train Your Dragon 2, and her favorite book series is Throne of Glass by Sarah J. Maas.

🎨🚗 SENIOR YEAR STARTS HERE! 💙🤍

The Class of 2027 kicked off their senior year by putting their own personal touch on OHS! Our seniors spent time painting their parking spaces, turning the lot into a colorful showcase of creativity, personality, and Blue Devil pride.

There’s something pretty special about seeing the Class of 2027 make their mark (literally) as they begin their final year at OHS. 🥹

🎉 Welcome to OUSD, Elaina Moody! 🎉

Please join us in welcoming Elaina Moody to the Oconto Unified School District! 💙💛

Elaina was born and raised right here in Oconto and graduated from Oconto High School in 2025. This year, she is returning to OUSD as a paraprofessional while also continuing her education as a full-time student at UW-Green Bay.

Elaina is especially excited to continue building relationships with students and getting to know her new coworkers. She certainly knows how to stay busy! She is currently balancing three jobs while attending college full-time!

Outside of work and school, Elaina enjoys playing volleyball and pickleball, baking, and spending time with her three dogs.

Please join us in welcoming Aaron Bonogofsky, OHS History Teacher, to the Oconto Unified School District! 💙💛

Aaron is originally from Burlington, Wisconsin, and comes to OUSD after teaching at Stanley Correctional Institution. He is excited to help our students learn social studies and looks forward to getting involved in the football and wrestling programs.

Outside of school, Aaron enjoys fishing, exercising, reading, hiking, and collecting framed posters.
