A huge thank you to Cindy at Cornerstone Nutrition in Oconto for inviting us into your space! The Zone kids made their own protein balls with mix-ins of their choice! Thank you Randi for leading our class and showing us how to make this tasty treat! 🤩

🏕️ Zone Campout 2026 was an amazing time with Zoe, Megan, Aimee, Adison and the Zone children! I cannot believe it is already over the mid way part of August and almost time for them all to go back to school!

On Day 1, we started off with breakfast at the daycare and packing up the vehicles to go to Aimee’s Cabin! When we got there, we quickly unpacked, got our swimsuits on and headed to the lake for swimming, kayaking, fishing, making plaster decor in the sand, playing in the sand, running around the park, and relaxing on the beach! 🌊🚣🎣
🥪For lunch, we made sandwiches with delicious toppings.
🏖️For snack, we made a beach version of the dirt cups that the kids got to create themselves! 🥤For a fun drink, each child brought their favorite soda or juice to add to a “swamp water” drink mix.
🍕To end the night, we made pizza pudgy pies around the fire and some zone kids even roasted some hotdogs as well. While we were cooking, the zone song songs, danced to music, played lawn games and laughed a lot together!
🎥🍿Everyone loved winding down with a movie on the big screen, popcorn and making their own s’mores!
🌟Some children even asked to sleep under the stars in hammocks!
Everyone had an amazing day 1 and it was so much fun to see everyone explore and maybe try something new!

On Day 2, when everyone woke up, we had chocolate chip pancakes and sausage on the flat top grill.
After our bellies were full, we went on a scavenger hunt with 6 different hidden riddles around the resort that lead us to a yummy fresh cotton candy treat!
🎈💥 We blew up our own balloons with a straw and had a contest to see who could pop it the fastest!
🏖️We then went down to have some beach time and enjoy everything we did yesterday. It was amazing to see staff and children laugh together and have an awesome time playing in the water, fishing, problem solving the paddle boards and cheering eachother on!
Everyone loved their picnic lunch that was a build your own nacho platter!
🥨In the morning, we made a friendship snack mix and everyone brought their favorite snack or candy to mix in. The zone kids enjoyed eating their friendship trail mix on the way back to daycare.

A huge thank you to everyone who made this possible! Especially Aimee for letting us use her cabin 🏕️❤️

The Zone kids had a blast tubing down the river on Tuesday! Kids and teachers had so much fun swimming, exploring the river, passing rubber ducks between tubes and talking with everyone!
After tubing, we enjoyed eating on the Brother’s 3 patio. 🍕
We couldn’t have had a more beautiful day for tubing! 🏊🏻‍♀️🤿
