Momentum Martial Arts is an inclusive, character driven, martial arts academy serving Oconomowoc & surrounding areas.

We look forward to meeting each new student wherever they are at in their journey! When your child is thriving, they are confident, learning, and having fun all at the same time — but finding the right extracurricular that strikes the right balance of all of those things can be tough. At Momentum Martial Arts Academy, we use martial arts to help your child develop important life skills all while h

aving fun. Classes for ages 4 & up, teens, and adults. Momentum Martial Arts (formerly Family Tae Kwon Do) has been serving Oconomowoc families since 2015.

Our Advanced Class knows that your only limit is you, and they won't be stopped!💥

At the beginning of class our students take a few minutes to warm up by practicing their foundational skills. For our high belts, that means working on keeping basics sharp, headed for perfection, and getting primed and ready for a great class!👊

🇺🇸 Full of Spirit! 🇺🇲

Despite the heat, we were all honored and excited to be able to take part in the City of Oconomowoc's 4th of July Parade!🎉

At Momentum Martial Arts, our community is important to us. A group of staff, students, families, and friends had a fantastic time in the parade on Friday! Students got to show off their spirit and skills and even got the crowd involved with some basic moves!🎆

From our Junior Ninjas to our Master Instructor, everyone had a great time and we're all looking forward to showing up again next year!💥

🌟Super Saturday!🌟

Abby has been on her journey to Black Belt for 4 years, but she's still in it to win it! Working on her Back Swing Kick, Abby is clearly having a good time while honing her skills!💥

At Momentum Martial Arts, we strive to keep students of all ages and belt levels engaged, learning, moving, and improving!✨

We aren't about getting to Black Belt as quickly as possible; we want our students to have confidence, respect, and solid foundations that will serve them on and off the mats. We look for perfection in our Black Belts, but progress of any kind is to be celebrated on the way.👏

🌟Super Saturday!🌟

Harper, a recent graduate of our Junior Ninja Program accomplished something fantastic at the end of the school year!🎉

Harper achieved the "Sweet as Pie" Award. This award recognizes Harper's kind and positive attitude, as well as a consistent willingness to help out others in her class!👏

Harper only graduated into the Kids Program two months ago, but she is always trying her hardest to be the best and do the best she can -despite her tiny stature.💥

Her positive attitude is always on display in class, and we're so proud that she was chosen for this award, she definitely deserves it!✨

Eli and Landon had a fantastic time working on their agility during the Ladder Race Drill!🔥

The Ladder Race Drill doesn't just focus on agility, Eli and Landon are also working strength, focus, balance, and body control while having a blast!💥

It may look like some of our drills are just games, but everything we do is to promote specific skill sets while keeping the kids engaged. Who ever said training can't be fun?🌟

Practicing For Life!🔥

Think Tae Kwon Do is only about self defense? Think again! Ian, a High Green Belt, is using many of the skills he learned here at Momentum Martial Arts for soccer practice!👏

At Momentum Martial Arts we focus on building strong foundations of confidence, focus, coordination, age-appropriate motor skills, respect, great attitude, and more!✨

These skills are a fantastic base for Martial Arts, but also for other sports, activities, and life in general! While we have many students that primarily practice Tae Kwon Do, we have even more that branch out into other sports and activities as they get older. From drama and debate, to all types of other sports, our students -and staff- have a wide variety of interests that Tae Kwon Do has helped prepare them for!🌟

What did YOUR kids do over the weekend?🤔
☄️The Force was strong with this group!☄️

Our Jedis-in-training had a fantastic time learning lightsaber skills and working though a fierce game of meteor dodging at our Parents Night Out on Friday!🔥

Luckily our very own Yoda, Mr. O, was up to the task and had these Jedis settled just in time for pizza and a movie!👏

By the end of the night, our newly appointed Jedis were masters of the Force and an awesome time was had by all!💥

Hey Parents, want a Friday night to yourself? We're here to help!💥

THIS FRIDAY send the kids for an awesome Jedi Training Night! First, Mr. O will channel his inner Yoda, leading the kids in lightsaber training, next our Jedis-in-training will harness the Force for obstacle courses & dodgeball! After that is pizza time, and the kids can bring a snack, sleeping bag & pillow for a special showing of Star Wars: The Clone Wars!☄️

All you have to do is register with the QR code, and prepare for a kid-less Friday night!🤩

*Non-students are welcome!
