Long Island friends…I have a friend with 28 year old son with autism (non behavioral) who would like to explore creating a group home with likeminded families. Possibly utilizing self direction and her childhood home. If you’d like to explore with her, I can get you connected.

All classes are in-person and can be in my office, at your home, or public site. Individual sessions work on necessary, spelling, typing, reading skills in order to communicate. Group sessions utilize these skills in order to socialize and communicate with peers. Lessons can focus on any subject (academic, personal, or social). I am trained by Soma Mukhapadyay in Rapid Prompt method; by Marilyn Chadwick in Supported Typing, and am currently learning Spelling 2 Communicate (S2C). Professionally, I am a speech therapist working for 25 years in public schools.
