Video College valedictorian with nonverbal autism delivers commencement speech Elizabeth Bonker was diagnosed with nonverbal autism, and over the weekend she delivered a speech at Rollins College via a text-to-speech computer program.
All classes are in-person and can be in my office, at your home, or public site. Individual sessions work on necessary, spelling, typing, reading skills in order to communicate. Group sessions utilize these skills in order to socialize and communicate with peers. Lessons can focus on any subject (academic, personal, or social). I am trained by Soma Mukhapadyay in Rapid Prompt method; by Marilyn Chadwick in Supported Typing, and am currently learning Spelling 2 Communicate (S2C). Professionally, I am a speech therapist working for 25 years in public schools.
