☀️ Beautiful Summer Week! ☀️
June has started with beautiful weather, and our classroom is blooming with excitement! The children are enjoying learning, exploring, and growing together.
This week in Geography, we learned fun facts about China. In Science, the children enjoyed learning how to clean coins and participated in a candle-burning experiment. In Art, they created adorable caterpillars using the letter C.
We will continue working on our letter sounds through next week, and then our Summer Program begins!

What a fun-filled week at Providence Montessori Child Care! 🌟
Our children enjoyed Montessori Work Time, explored the Letter of the Week "B," celebrated Eid with dancing, singing, and crafts, and had fun with bubble science and balloon art. 🫧🎨
We finished the week by making a delicious blueberry and banana smoothie and dancing with Ms. Mary! 💃🫐🍌

What an exciting week in our classroom! 🐣✨
After two 21-day incubation cycles, our second batch of chicks finally hatched, and we welcomed 7 adorable chicks! The children loved watching the incubation and hatching process and enjoy checking on the chicks throughout the day. 💛
Our Sound of the Week was A, and we had fun learning about Austria 🇦🇹, exploring an apple oxidation experiment 🍎, creating artwork, baking apple crumble, and dancing with Ms. Mary 💃🎶.
We are so proud of how much the children are growing in concentration, independence, and love for learning. 🌱✨

🌸 What a beautiful May! 🌸
It may be the busiest month of the year, but it is also filled with so many fun activities, celebrations, and exciting moments! We started the month celebrating Cinco de Mayo, and Mother’s Day was extra special as the children proudly shared their favorite classroom works with their mamas, enjoyed muffins with mom, and gifted the beautiful handmade treasures they created with love. 💕
This week, our sound of the week was Z the final letter and sound of the alphabet! We read books, learned fun facts about Zambia, practiced zipper work in Practical Life, and had so much fun with our zig-zag magnet experiment. ✨
Of course, we wrapped up the week with cleaning, cooking, and dance class fun! 💃🧹👩🍳

🌼🌷 Welcome May! A Month of Flowers & Gardening at Providence Montessori! 🌷🌼
May is one of our busiest and most exciting months of the year! As everything blooms around us, our children will explore the beauty of nature through hands-on gardening, planting seeds, watering, and learning how things grow. 🌱🌸
🎉 Celebrating Cinco de Mayo!�Children will enjoy learning about Mexican culture through fun activities, music, and art in a meaningful and age-appropriate way. 🌮🎶🎨
Our days are filled with Montessori learning, creative art, music, sensory play, cooking activities, and lots of outdoor fun in the sunshine! ☀️

April has been such a wonderful month, and we are now coming to the end of it!
Our sound of the week was W, and we had a great time with our Monday Show & Tell. On Tuesday, the children enjoyed learning interesting facts about Western Sahara.
On Tuesday, we celebrated Earth Day by learning about our beautiful planet, Earth. We talked about how to take care of our environment, and the children enjoyed making their own Planet Earth art projects it was such a meaningful and creative activity!
Montessori work time and music continue to be the children’s favorite parts of the day. We also explored a fun science activity on water-soluble and insoluble materials the children were fascinated to see that sugar dissolved while beans did not!
One of the most exciting moments was watching our cocoons transform into beautiful butterflies. On Friday, we released them and celebrated this special moment together.
We wrapped up the week with waffle cooking and joyful dancing with Ms. Mary 💛

Another amazing week at Providence Montessori! 🌿
Our sound of the week was “V,” and the children had so much fun bringing items and books for show and tell.
During Montessori work time, every child is doing great engaged, focused, and building independence. We also enjoyed music time and practiced making silence, a beautiful and calming part of our classroom routine.
In geography, we explored fun facts about Vietnam. The children also enjoyed yoga and had a blast creating their very own volcano!
They loved observing the caterpillars as they went through the metamorphosis process and formed their cocoons such a magical learning experience.
Fridays are always a favorite with cooking activities cutting their own favorite vegetables, enjoying healthy snacks, and dancing with Ms. Mary! 💃

We had a wonderful first week of April! 🌸
Spring is in the air, and so is our exciting life cycle study of chickens and butterflies. The children were fascinated watching baby chicks grow inside the eggs during candling and seeing our caterpillars get bigger every day.
Our sound of the week, “U,” was so much fun! The children loved bringing Show & Tell items, books, and pictures to share.
We also explored fun facts about Ukraine, enjoyed a creative park day with finger painting raindrops and took in the beauty of nature on our walk to and from the park 🌿
Cooking upside-down cupcakes was a big hit 🧁and dance class with Ms. Mary brought lots of joy and movement 💃
