To The Stage

One special part of our program is watching our older students step into leadership roles and serve as role models for our younger performers. Whether they are helping a student learn choreography or song lyrics or simply leading by example through their hard work and kindness, they make a lasting impact.

These mentoring relationships help build confidence, responsibility, and character in our older students while creating a welcoming and supportive environment for our younger ones. It is also an opportunity for our younger ones to see what they are working towards on the big stage. We are so proud of the way our students lift each other up, demonstrating that being part of a theater family is about more than performing—it’s about inspiring, encouraging, and helping one another grow.

We wrapped up with our 13 ‘In-Studio’ shows today! We finish off the spring session next month with our big 3 shows at the Bellmore Showplace!

The overall themes of KPOP Demon Hunters: embracing who you are, instead of hiding your differences. Having confidence & courage to be who you are! Zootopia 🦊 🐰 With a cast made up mostly of boys (the most we’ve ever had in one class together in 14 years!) and only 2 girls (also, shocking!!!!) there was never a dull moment. Zootopia is all about looking beyond first impressions, celebrating what makes us different, and realizing that everyone has something special to contribute and this class of awesome students really proved all of that! Thank you so much to Director/Choreographer Ms. Ella, Assistant Ms. Olivia, and Student Director-in-Trainings Poppy and Ryan.

Looking forward to being back at Rolling River Day Camp this summer for the 10th summer!

Huge news! Hamilton’s (amongst many other Broadway credits) Stephanie Klemons will be running a Broadway workshop at To The Stage this summer!
