MiraCosta College Noncredit English as a Second Language

The MiraCosta College ESL program offers FREE classes to help adults improve their English for personal, academic, career, and civic goals.

The noncredit ESL program provides seven levels of ESL at the Community Learning Center during morning, afternoon and evening hours. The program also offers Vocational ESL, conversation classes, open-entry distance learning, citizenship, computer-based study, and Saturday classes. Classes are also offered at Encinitas Library, Melba Bishop Recreation Center in Oceanside, and La Colonia Community Center in Solana Beach.

🧡 Help save lives while building leadership skills!
MiraCosta College Continuing Education is looking for 20 students to join our new Bone Marrow Awareness Project, led by Professor Daniela Grosso.
Participants will:
📚 Learn about bone marrow donation and donor compatibility
🤝 Attend bone marrow-related events
📣 Help organize and promote a campus awareness event
🏅 Receive a Certificate of Participation upon completion
The project will meet once a week from September 2026 through April 2027. The specific day and time will be determined.
📅 Apply by September 4!
Email [email protected] with the subject line “Bone Marrow Project Selection.” Professor Grosso will follow up to schedule a brief interview.
