I lost 985-1598. I want to thank everyone for coming out and voting for me. I want to thank everyone who helped in this campaign. We tried and Oceanside has spoken.

Voting machines are down. Board of Elections employees are here now fixing the machines. You can either vote and put your ballot in a slot for scanning later or come back and vote when the machines are working. I chose to wait to make sure my vote is scanned.

Oceanside is ready for a change on the School Board.

In this campaign we highlighted the $28 million in overtaxing and underspending over the past two years. We highlighted the lack of leadership on the Board, allowing the Superintendent to unilaterally take away the 6th grade trip.

We have promised greater transparency and greater access to Board members. We have proposed a high school traffic study to try and fix pickup and drop off. We have highlighted how special education in the district is failing our students and how now is the time for leadership in the department.

Tuesday, May 17 Oceanside gets to tell the status quo it is time for cultural change on the Board, one that ends the intimidation and threats transforming it into one that works for the community, the taxpayers, and most importantly, the students.

Vote for me, Austin Graff on Tuesday so we can start to cleanup Oceanside schools.
