I've been so impressed with Morphemes for Little Ones! This resource from 95 Percent Group does an excellent job introducing young students to morphology in a way that is engaging, age-appropriate, and easy to implement.
I love watching students make connections between words, build vocabulary, and strengthen their reading and spelling skills through meaningful word study. The lessons are thoughtfully designed and align beautifully with a structured literacy approach.
If you're looking for a way to introduce prefixes, suffixes, and base words to younger elrmentary learners, I highly recommend Morphemes for Little Ones. It's a resource that makes morphology both accessible and enjoyable for children while laying a strong foundation for literacy growth. 📚✨

Today we celebrated the end of another wonderful year in our Homeschool Enrichment Class! 🎓📚
Our students have worked hard, grown in confidence, built friendships, and accomplished so much this year.
We were grateful to gather together to recognize their achievements and celebrate all they have learned. All the students in our homeschool enrichment class were present today except for one!
Thank you to our families for trusting us to be part of your children's educational journey. We are so proud of each and every student and can't wait to see what they accomplish next!

Simultaneous Oral Spelling is a powerful multisensory technique that helps students strengthen spelling, reading, and memory pathways at the same time.
As students say each letter or sound aloud while writing it, they engage visual, auditory, and kinesthetic learning channels—supporting stronger word retention and more accurate spelling.
When students hear it, say it, and write it, learning sticks!

⚓️ Sink That Ship…with PHONICS! 🚢📚
One of our students’ favorite literacy games is a twist on an old classic — but instead of coordinates, students read and spell words connected to the targeted phonics concept. Whether we’re practicing silent letters, consonant blends, suffixes, or prefixes, this game keeps students engaged while strengthening decoding, encoding, and automaticity.
Research shows that repeated practice with targeted phonics patterns helps build stronger neural pathways for reading and spelling success. When learning feels like play, students stay motivated and confident!
At Reading Reach Literacy Center, we believe structured literacy can be both explicit AND fun. đź’™

Dyslexia is not just a reading delay. It is often rooted in a phonological processing weakness that impacts how students recognize, process, and work with language. When we reduce dyslexia to simply being “behind in reading,” we miss the real issue and the instruction often misses the mark too.
This is why evaluation matters and the misuse of MTSS is dangerous. Students deserve more than endless interventions without understanding why they are struggling in the first place. If we never identify the underlying processing weakness, instruction will never be targeted enough to truly close gaps.
Too many students spend years being treated for the symptom while the root cause is ignored. That is not support. That is delay.
Kids deserve answers. They deserve instruction designed for their actual needs, not guesswork.
