I’ve baked with Elise plenty of times, but this was the first time I pretty much let her do it all by herself 🥹🍪 I helped supervise, but she poured in the ingredients, mixed everything together and even scooped out her own cookie dough!
Honestly, watching her figure it all out herself might be even more fun than baking 🥰✨
Now I’m curious what I should let her make next…

I try to avoid buying snacks at the grocery store thinking I’ll just make some healthier version at home instead. But when I don’t keep up with baking… I’m left with few options 🍫
Anyone else snack on chocolate chips all day? 😅

It’s my twin and my birthday so it’s only fitting that I share this today!
My sister is such an important part of my daughters life and I can’t wait for her to be mommy number two to baby number two as well 🥰💕 Loved that Elise got to tell her aunty the big news!

This was the FIRST time I’ve ever cut my husband’s hair! 😂✂️ We started after we put Elise to bed at 9pm. We were already exhausted from the day, but somehow managed to get it done before his morning meeting. Very brave considering he had to face his coworkers the next morning 😂 I think it turned out pretty good for my first try… what do you think?!

I wanted to get a little creative with revealing baby number two, and it just so happened that we were pouring a new parking pad on our property. 😉

I had the idea for our family to leave our handprints in the wet cement, but instead of writing the date… I wrote, “I’m pregnant!” 🤍

This moment is so special because it will forever a part of our first home and the place where we plan to raise our babies. I don’t think I’ll ever walk past it without smiling. 🏡✨
