Such a fun day with our little girl, who is officially an even bigger soccer fan now that she can cheer everyone on herself 😂 Every time the players ran down the field she kept chanting “BALL! BALL! BALL!” and was completely locked into the game the entire time.

And yes… I may or may not have gotten a little too excited hitting the Wavemaker ceremonial drum before kickoff 😜🥁⚽️

Because of you, whenever I see sparkles in the ocean, I’ll tell Elise that’s where the mermaids are. Because of you, I still can’t eat broccoli without checking for pixies hidden inside because you taught me they were fairy trees. Because of you, I know how to make the perfect cheese plate for any occasion. Because of you, I spend way too long looking at every doll and stuffed animal at the store before picking one because you taught me they all have different personalities. Because of you, Elise now eats tortellini at least a few times a week.
And because of you, I felt truly ready to become a mama myself.
I call you on the hard days for advice and comfort, and I call you on the good days too because, let’s be honest… we both just love talking on the phone 😉
I love you, Mamasita! Thank you for making my childhood feel magical and for helping me create that same magic for Elise now. You are the best mom I could ever ask for. Xoxoxo✨
