May is Mental Health Awareness Month and Roosevelt has the most hardworking and caring school counselors, social worker, and school psychologists.

This week, Mrs. Johnson, our Wellness Counselor and Community School Co-Lead, was out at both lunches all week providing engaging activities for the students. Students filled out their very own Self Care Menus, bravely wrote about things they are struggling with every day, won some awesome prizes and more!

Mayo es el Mes de la Concientización sobre la Salud Mental y en Roosevelt contamos con los consejeros escolares, trabajadora social y psicólogos escolares más dedicados y atentos.

Esta semana, la Sra. Johnson, nuestra Consejera de Bienestar y Co-Líder de Community School, estuvo presente durante ambos almuerzos toda la semana ofreciendo actividades dinámicas y atractivas para los estudiantes. Los estudiantes completaron sus propios menús de autocuidado, escribieron valientemente sobre las cosas con las que luchan día a día, ganaron premios increíbles ¡y mucho más!

¡Un agradecimiento especial a por donar canastas de regalo para los estudiantes!

Our school hosted the Community School Coalition Showcase tonight where 12 Community Schools in VUSD came together to highlight all of the amazing things happening at their schools and got to network with community partners. Special shout out to for always coming in to support us!

Today, the Wildcat Staff gathered together for good tidings and cheer! We also honored Mrs. Maria and Mrs. G for their impactful and joyful career at RMS. Thank you to and for a delicious kickstart to the morning.

Thank you to our incredible and for hosting our first Wildcat Ice Cream social! Students and families were invited to enjoy some delicious ice cream and play games despite the rainy weather! We hope everyone had an ice time 🍦🐾
