Self-belief isn’t just a feel-good idea. Neuroscience shows that when you expect success, your brain allocates more attention, planning, and motor engagement to a task.

This shift shows up in prefrontal circuits that support focus and sustained effort, and in reward pathways that help maintain motivation even without external feedback.

Brain research on expectation and placebo effects demonstrates that belief changes physiological responses and the value the brain assigns to outcomes, so effort is more consistent.

Expectation also influences how the brain handles risk and threat signalling, lowering excessive avoidance and helping action continue in uncertainty.

We are proud to support Alyce Franklin-Owens Alyce Franklin and the Central Jersey Club NANBPWC The Central Club of the NANBPWC, Inc. in their Making Strides Against Breast Cancer walk, raising awareness and funds for the American Cancer Society’s research and support services. 💗

Cerebellar deficiency isn't keeping Leyton from tackling new challenges. 🧠💪

When his family came to LearningRx, they weren't sure how the training would work for him... but figured, "why not try it?"

And the effects have been phenomenal.

Over the course of training, Leyton and his parents have noticed improvements in confidence, communication, physical coordination, and so many other things that have helped him unlock new possibilities for his future.
