For those of us who went to Pecan Park, does anyone remember the school burying a time capsule in 1976 for the Bicentennial? I mentioned it to my granddaughters teacher but I don’t recall where exactly they buried it. -Cathy Berry

We donated $15,500 to Memorial Hospital Foundation last year. $20,000 is our goal this year!!!

Kids BBQ on Friday night, October 17. 7-13 years old. Will cook on Weber kettle grills and kids get to keep the kettles. Hamburgers will be judged by guest attending that night. Details will be given to contestants when they sign up. LIMITED TO 8 TEAMS!!!!!

Lori Pontius & I are pleased to announce that The Project and John Hollier are back on Two Sticks Bandstand by popular demand for your entertainment!

Admission is $40 per person 12 & older. This includes parking, admission, all you can eat BBQ, beer, soft drinks, water and two awesome bands..... but most of all, help people fight cancer!

Due to the overwhelming sellout of The Que Box VIP area, it is available again to the 1st 30(15 left) people,
over 21, paying! $100 ticket gets admission to the grounds, all you can eat BBQ, beer, soft drinks and water PLUS access to our huge covered back porch complete with two large TV's, comfortable seating, top shelf bar with bartender, private restroom on back porch and front row viewing of the midway. (*** NOTE*** YES the Old Fashion guy will be back, in response to two texts LOL)

As usual, cash or check at the door... VENMO is the only electronic payment method. All payments are non-refundable. Sorry

Last but not least- we have to stop admission at 400 people! Parking is the limiting factor.

Fellow classmates- for those that remember and wish to attend a Celebration of Life for Thomas Iverson, you are invited on May 20 from 4-8 PM at the home of Mike and Lori Pontius.

Thomas loved beer, ribs and crawfish. Corn hole, horse shoes and wiffle ball. We will have all of the above.
