It brings us great sorrow to share that heaven gained another artist to paint the sky. Retired JCSD art teacher, Mrs Weems, suddenly got sick and spent her last days in the hospital surrounded by her family.

Those who knew Mrs Weems knew a few things to be true- she believed that God is the center of every relationship, family is everything and art is therapy for the soul. For decades, she guided both elementary and high school students not just with art skills but through life with her kindness & support. She was a gentle, kind soul who loved her students like her own. She will be sorely missed. Paint the skies beautifully.

Tomorrow, Saturday May 15th, at Joe Barlow Stadium. Registration at 8:30 am and walk from 9:00-10:30am. $5 registration. If you have pledges, you may bring them and turn them in or bring a flat donation.

First 200 walkers get a Singing River Hospital face towel! THANK YOU SINGING RIVER HOSPITAL for the donation!

The Coke trailer will sell drinks- $2.00 each.

Coke duffle & big beach towel raffle- $1 chance. THANK YOU GULFPORT COCA-COLA for the donation!
