For those who don't know, South Coast Paddling has officially closed for business. It's been a great five years with all our peeps! Happy yakkin', y'all!

Saturday, November 22nd: Our last Quickstart Class of the year!

The class is a great introduction to kayaking and a wonderful opportunity to get on the water before it gets chilly!

Join South Coast Paddling Company and ACA certified instructor Hank for a Flatwater Safety and Rescue class.

This half day class will cover flatwater safety techniques including self rescues and other practices in case of an emergency on the water.

The class will be from 9am-1pm on Sunday, October 12th.

Registration is required so give us a call at 228-872-2030.

Check out this new American Canoe Association (ACA) app! This application assists paddlers with creating and sharing float plans and includes a number of other safety and planning features. The app is also free!

Swamp tours around the South Get up-close and personal with alligators and the bayou by airboat, barge or kayak.

We had a whole lot of fun yesterday as we watched some of our kayaks being filmed for a Mississippi Convention and Visitors Bureau commercial! Keep an eye out for some awesome pictures from the shoot!

Mark your calendars for the first annual Peddle, Paddle and Pound Race on Sunday, September 21st! The event consists of a 10 mile bike, 1 mile run, 2 mile kayak, followed by another 1 mile run. More details below:

Calendar The Walter Anderson Museum of Art houses the many works of Walter Inglis Anderson and his brothers Peter & James MacConnell. WAMA also offers group tours, art activities, and other educational workshops.

There is still time to register for the Pink Paddle Kayak Race hosted by the Biloxi Yacht Club. The race will take place this Saturday, the 26th, and benefits the Pink Heart Funds, a wonderful cause!

There are still a few spots left in our Quick Start Kayaking Class scheduled for 9-12 Saturday, July 12th! The 3-4 hour class will cover kayaking safety, potential hazards, and basic rescues. For those new to kayaking, this class is a great way to get your feet wet! Call 228-872-2030 to reserve a spot.
