🧱💙 Big blocks. Big imaginations. Big thanks to our PTO!

Our students have a brand new way to create, build, and play thanks to our amazing PTO! They generously purchased Imagination Playground Big Blue Foam Building Blocks for our playground, giving students even more opportunities for hands-on fun.

These oversized blocks encourage creativity, problem-solving, STEM skills, teamwork, and active play. Whether our students are building a tower, designing a fort, or inventing something completely new, they’re learning and working together while having FUN!

We are so grateful to our PTO for continuing to invest in experiences that make Lighthouse Academy such a special place to learn and grow. We can’t wait to see what our students build! 💙🧱

The DEN Theatrics recently brought The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical to the stage, and because Percy Jackson is dyslexic, they chose Lighthouse Academy as the program they wanted to support through their production. That connection makes this gift especially meaningful to us.

There’s something special about the start of a new Paired Reading quarter! 📚❤️

This week, our students met their new reading partners, and for the first quarter, our older students are paired with our younger students. Watching them encourage, model, and celebrate reading together is one of our favorite traditions.

Every quarter, we switch partners, giving students the opportunity to build new friendships, grow in confidence, and strengthen their reading skills together. We can't wait to see all the growth this year's pairs will make! 🌟
