Christus Victor Preschool

It was Show and Tell day at the preschool so we could all get to know one another a bit better and the students did such a great job bringing in things they found important and displaying them to the class. They all found similarities with each other and it sparked a lot of excitement in the group. Good job little ones! It was very cool to see all of your neat things!

Our first visit with Mrs. LeAnne from the Ocean Springs Library this Thursday was so much fun! She taught the students new songs, finger plays, and read them stories. The students were absolutely captivated and we can't wait until our next visit!

What a fun first couple of days of preschool!!!! It was so wonderful to get to see everyone and meet all of our new friends! We spent the whole time exploring the classroom and making new friendships, and it was a wonderful start to a brand new year together!

Congratulations little ones on all of your hard work this year!! Our graduation program was adorable and we are so proud of all of you!
The students got on stage and did a beautiful performance. They received their diplomas proudly and we had a fabulous feast afterwards thanks to all of our parents. A special thanks to the parents who worked so hard and diligently on decorating the Fellowship hall. It turned out absolutely fabulous.
We will miss each and everyone of our students and their families after the great year we had with you and we hope you have the best summer ever!!!!

It was such a great last week of preschool!!! Monday we went bubble wild in the playground, Tuesday we closed off the parking lot for a bike day, Wednesday was water day and Thursday was filled with so much shaving cream and fun!

We are so happy with our new Eco-playground at the preschool! The old apparatus and tire chips have all been donated and removed, the fence extended and fresh grass planted for our students to play on. With a lumber donation from Hometown Lumber in Ocean springs, friends of the preschool were able to build a play place for the students. A donation of 30 plants was made by Murray's Nursery in Moss point and made it possible for us to have butterfly gardens and shade. Wooden boxes for those plants to grow and flourish were donated by Buff City Soaps in Ocean Springs, and we can't be more thankful for each and everyone of these businesses and people that believed in our mission and our project!! We would also like to thank our families for their patience and open-minds while we made that huge transition. Because of all of you, our students, and many generations of students to come, will now have a sustainable and natural place to play that inspires curiosity, creativity and an awareness of their environment and the natural surroundings.
