I am running for the school board to put our children first.

11/03/2021

I want to congratulate the winners of this contest and thank all of you who voted whether it was in support of me or not. I hope to continue to work with the Board of Education and our district officials and to advocate for our kids. That is something we all can do. Attend meetings and be in the know.

Who will teach the children?
What will they teach them?
Why should you care?

I will be your advocate. I will do the hard work to protect our most precious commodity-our children.

Thank you for the encouragement and support. Now, I am asking for your vote.

“Spook-tacular” Trunk-or-Treat at St. Peter’s Church | OCNJ Daily 11/01/2021

Hope everyone had a fun, safe and super sweet Halloween weekend! Tomorrow we get out of costume and back to work on electing good, sound, reasonable people to office!

“Spook-tacular” Trunk-or-Treat at St. Peter’s Church | OCNJ Daily There were pirates, superheroes, princesses, ghosts and a pony. Even "the real Batman" made a personal appearance. Yes, it all happened in the parking lot of St. Peter’s United Methodist Church, located on Eighth Street in Ocean City, on Saturday afternoon. There were treats galore at the first ch...

We need to come together as a community and fight for our kids rights. I have no other political aspirations; I am a mom, a teacher, a neighbor and a friend who will work with you to enact change to improve our schools. Someone has to advocate for these kids and push back on the state’s overreach.
Vote today!

Wonder what the NJDOE will cover at the meeting tomorrow? The implementation of s*x ed is on the agenda. Make sure to follow up with your kids health teachers and scrutinize their curriculum.
Hope we won’t have to sign a non-disclosure agreement to view it like they are doing in Loudon Co Va!

Take s*x out of NJ classrooms: It's time to get schools back to basics | Jack Ciattarelli 10/23/2021

A big shout out to the teachers for the face to face conferences and to discuss our children’s progress. I spoke with the health teacher and was assured that after a meeting this upcoming Tuesday with the NJDOE, there would be more guidance on how the s*x education curriculum standards would be implemented and there should also be an opt out option available. The health teacher was very forthcoming and reviewed the information being presented to my eighth grader with me to make sure it is age appropriate. She encouraged parents to ask questions prior to opting out for clarity on this subject.
Thank you to the teachers for partnering with parents.

Toms River School Board Rejects State-Mandated Policy Over LGBTQ Inclusion, S*x Ed 10/22/2021

I play well in the sandbox with everyone.
We need our Board of Education to also work together to achieve the goals that reflect our family values and resolve the issues that we face as a community. I am all for an environment where everyone is included and respected for their individual beliefs. However, some of our beliefs are infringed upon when the NJDOE rolls out standards that are not age appropriate.
Look at this article and see what can happen when we work together and all play well in the sandbox
