Modern Day Jonah decided not to run anymore. When God gives you a gift, you have to use it. Everytime (I) attempt to retire, God throws me back into the ring of Service.

In October 2003, Dr. K.Crowell-Grate retired from Public school teaching and open up her very first private school with accreditation. At the time, she became accredited under the National Association of Christian Education (NACE).
It is my legacy along with my Brother Errol Washington to continue carrying on the good work that was implemented by our mother so many years ago.

There is no where un this world that you can run from God's Destiny.

Though it has gone through a few name changes Dr. D.D.Brown Christian Academy Of Hope was accredited as Kingdom Christian Academy in April 2010 at 907 S.W. Third Street under the Leadership of Dr.Kathryn J. Crowell-Grate Mr Bobby James and Dr. D.D.Brown. The School was a credited through the Southern Association Of Colleges and Schools (SACS) Christian Schools Of Florida (CSF), and the (NCPSA) the National Council on Pricate School Accreditation.
After the separation of the schools, Dr. D.D. Brown Christian Academy Of Hope changed leadership. Mr Errol E. Washington came in as the Director of The school located at the 907 location.
Mr. Washington has led the school through the Covid Pandemic and is now joined back with his Sister Dr. Kathryn Crowell-Grate to take the mission of their mother into the next generation.
