📣 Class Shout-Outs 📣
Cross-grade learning was in action on this Early Dismissal day!

Ms. Nackers’ and Ms. Harmon’s fourth graders teamed up with Ms. Schrimsher’s first graders for a fun morning of learning together! Students read informational texts about animals, drew and labeled the animals they learned about, and wrote sentences identifying the topic and important details.

It was so much fun watching our first and fourth graders read, talk, create, and learn together. The teamwork between our younger and older Bears made this activity extra special! 💙💚💛

🍎 School is back, and it’s time to THANK a teacher!

The 2026-2027 Thank a Teacher Campaign is officially open! The Public Education Foundation of Marion County partners with HCA Florida Ocala Hospital​ and HCA Florida West Marion Hospital, and they’re ready for another year of celebrating the amazing teachers who make a difference every day.

Each month, one nominated teacher will be randomly selected for a special recognition and school celebration 🎉!

Friendly back to school reminders:
🍎 Parents, you may not walk up to drop off or pick up students.
🍎 Students are not to be dropped off in the parking lot.
🍎 Parents of walkers will meet/drop off students at the crosswalk, not at the front of the campus.
🍎 The latest time to check out students is 1:30pm.

With over 1,000 students on our campus, we need everyone to help out in order to maintain student safety at all times. Thank you for playing a huge role in this!
