25 YEARS! Officer James Deas has been serving the people of Ocala as a law enforcement officer for 25 years. At OPD, he has held several roles, including Patrolman, Field Training Officer, Detective, and currently as a School Resource Officer at Marion Technical College.

Officer Deas was born here in Ocala and is a proud graduate of Vanguard High School and the College of Central Florida. His service to his hometown is commendable and we are fortunate to have him working to protect our citizens. He said that he is honored to serve such a great community and appreciates the support of his wife and son.

Thank you, Officer Deas, for your remarkable 25 years of dedicated service to the City of Ocala! We appreciate all that you do to keep our community safe!
