JP was telling me that he is in fact the originator of working equitation in Europe! He said the Italians started it, but he brought it to Europe. Good man!

Oh my! We were very surprised and honored to be visited by master horseman and international dressage trainer, J. P Giacomini at the store yesterday! What an amazing man. He has worked with Nuno Oliveira and Dom Jose Athayde (Founding Head Rider of the Portuguese School). He has also trained international sport horses in England with great success and thankfully, he is now residing in Lexington Kentucky. He is a great innovator and has developed techniques to enhance the biomechanical performance of horses, which is absolutely fascinating, and very effective. (Endotapping). We are hoping he will come back to Ocala soon and we will ensure that he is available to hold another clinic! It was such a pleasure to meet him.
