Good afternoon, Osceola families,
That is a wrap on the 2025โ2026 school year, and what an incredible year it has been. As we head into summer break, I want to make you aware of the OMS Summer Learning Plan we have created for your children. The learning activities are based on the grade level your child will be entering.
Please be sure to check it out and help your child avoid the summer slide and start the next school year ahead. You may find the Summer Learning Plan by clicking the following link: https://oms.marionschools.net/summer_learning_2026
Additionally, the summer edition of the OMS newsletter can be found by clicking the link below: https://app.smore.com/n/czt5a
I want to thank you for your partnership in making this such a successful school year, as we truly could not do it without your support. To our returning families, we cannot wait to welcome you back in August. To our 8th grade families, we wish you the very best as you continue on your journey.
I wish you and your family a safe and enjoyable summer break.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Johnson, Principal

Our culinary students took guests on a trip Around the World today! ๐๐ฝ๏ธ
Students prepared and served dishes inspired by Cuba, New Zealand, Brazil, Nigeria, Italy, and India, giving guests the chance to sample flavors and traditions from around the globe. It was a fun and creative way to showcase all of their hard work and talent in the kitchen!
Thank you, Mrs. Frye, for creating another unique experience and opportunity for our students! ๐

Good evening, Osceola families.
It is hard to believe that we are heading into the last week of the the school year. As we approach the final week, please note that backpacks will not be permitted on campus next week. Students may bring a small bag, such as a drawstring or crossbody bag.
As a reminder, there will be no school on Monday, May 25 in observance of Memorial Day. Next week, we will follow a modified schedule with block days on Tuesday and Wednesday, and then a regular 1โ6 period day on Thursday, which is also the last day of school.
On the last day of school, we will have a special 8th grade walk to celebrate our students. Due to logistical reasons, this event will not be open for family attendance.
Lastly, yearbooks have been distributed to the students this week. If you would still like to purchase one, please do so before the deadline, which is Saturday, May 23, or until they run out.
Thank you for your continued support, and we look forward to finishing the year strong.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Johnson, Principal
