We are so proud to celebrate Mrs. Dyck for being selected to represent Marion County Public Schools as the 2026–2027 Middle School Social Studies Teacher of the Year!

This prestigious recognition, presented through the Florida Council for the Social Studies (FCSS) Awards Program, honors exemplary social studies educators from school districts across Florida.

Our first Early Release Day was a SUCCESS! 🎉

We had a great visit from Kona Ice, and our students sure enjoyed the cool, sweet treat! 🍧😋 It was the perfect way to add a little extra fun to our day.

Our staff then enjoyed a delicious lunch, meaningful fellowship, and time to learn alongside one another.
