Lake Weir High School students and families are invited to celebrate the Grand Opening of the new Silver Springs Shores Public Library on Thursday, July 23, at 10:00 a.m.

This beautiful new library will serve as a place where our community can learn, explore, connect, and grow for generations to come. Whether you’re looking for your next great read, study resources, or community programs, this is a wonderful opportunity to welcome an exciting new addition to Marion County.

🎓 Still Need to Pass a State Assessment?

If you did not pass a required Florida State Assessment this spring, you have another opportunity to meet your graduation assessment requirement by testing this summer!

✅ Avoid having to retest during the school year
✅ Stay on track for graduation
✅ Start the new school year with one less test to worry about

🗓️ Summer testing will take place the week of July 13th.

As we wrap up another incredible school year, we want to remind all students and families that the last day of school is Thursday, May 28! 💜💛

Attendance remains extremely important through the final day of school. Students should arrive on time each day and be present for all final exams to ensure a strong finish to the year. Please help us encourage students to stay focused, prepared, and finish strong!

Reminder: Backpacks are NOT permitted on campus during the last week of school.

Thank you for your continued support as we close out the 2025-2026 school year together!

Tonight, we celebrated more than a graduation, we celebrated four years of growth, perseverance, memories, and dreams becoming reality. 💜💛

To the Class of 2026, we are so proud of your hard work and dedication. From your first day on campus to walking across the stage tonight, you have left a legacy at Lake Weir High School that will never be forgotten.

To our parents and families, thank you for every sacrifice, word of encouragement, and moment of support along the way. This accomplishment belongs to you too.

To our faculty and staff, thank you for the countless hours, guidance, patience, and care you poured into this class over the last four years. Your impact will last far beyond graduation day.
