$22/hour: POOL Position for Florida Class D and G (Armed Security). We are building a roster for an upcoming contract on a military installation in the Jacksonville, FL area starting April 26, 2017. The contract will be up to 90 days covering round the clock shifts of 12 hours. This will be a specialized waterborne security with rifle training required prior to starting the assignment. Ideal job for the D and G Certified Security Operator looking for flexible shifts. We also expect several other contracts immediately after the completion of this operation. Florida Class G Statewide Firearm License Training
Course Description: The 28 hour Florida Class G Statewide Firearm License Training is the course required to apply for the Class G Statewide Firearm License. The Class G Firearm License is required for Armed Security and Private Investigators and may be taken prior to or concurrent with the C or D License class. The course includes 20 hours of required classroom topics and eight (8) hours of range training and fi****ms qualification. This will be an intense two-day (14 hours each day) class with light breakfast and lunch provided during classroom hours. All 28 hours must be completed.

Class Times: Wednesday, December 28, 2016 and Thursday December 29, 2016 from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm each day. ALL class hours are mandatory and early dismissal is not allowed. Range times will be 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm at an indoor range approximately two miles from the classroom.

Class Location: 1013 East Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, Florida. Professional Firefighters of Ocala Training Room.
Materials Required for Students to Bring to Both Sessions:
Handgun with Belt and Holster: .38 caliber revolver; or a .380 caliber or 9-millimeter semiautomatic pistol; or a .357 caliber revolver with .38-caliber ammunition only; or a .40 caliber handgun; or a .45 163 ACP handgun. Handgun cleaning materials.
Bring Ammunition: Minimum of 150 rounds of Ammunition.

Three Magazines or Two Speed Loaders, depending on the type of weapon.

Bring Holster and Belt capable of securely holding the holster.
Approved Eyewear (Shooting Glasses) and Hearing Protection (soft earplugs allowed).

We are providing the classroom, handouts, light breakfast and lunch each day, Notary Service for application, Certificate of Completion for G class and Fi****ms Safety Certificate for Concealed Weapons class (if applicable) and range time at a private indoor climate controlled range.
