Today, September 1st, 2026, I was recognized by our Mayor of Ocala, Ben Marciano for the Citizen Recognition Award.
I was surprised by several of my F**TSQUAD, whom I call my family. I'm full of tears & heard what was written about me. It was giving recognition to all my current & past years of community service through fitness and wellness events, classes, and other fundraising activities. I stood there in a jammed packed room, so emotional, so proud, and even more inspired than I already was to continue doing what I do, not only for the causes but for what my community may need.
I choose to give back, host events, and free classes because I see how much bringing the people together through such events are so healing, rewarding & life changing. No one should be alone. Not feel heard, not feel valued & seen. I live by giving my loved ones what they truly need. I feel the best gift you can give someone is your time. I give my all in everything I do.
It's my honor and pleasure & I look forward to continue to serving my community.
