Our students take pride in cleaning and preparing for our clients. We will see you when we return January 13th ready to take clients.

Our students had a wonderful experience giving back at this year’s Fostering Foundation Christmas Party. We were grateful for the opportunity to provide free haircuts throughout the event. From setup to cleanup—and every moment in between—our team worked with enthusiasm and dedication.
Before services began, the students enjoyed participating in the festivities, and once the work started, they remained consistently busy until every haircut was complete. We were able to capture and share several of these moments, even though a few clients preferred not to be photographed.
Community service is an essential part of our class culture, and we are proud to support our community whenever and however we can.

Barbering students gave cuts to kids for free at the Fostering Foundation Christmas Party.

It is our newest group of students focused intently on getting ready for their 90 degree short layer practical. And then friends and family next week and open to the public after that. Stay tuned for available appointments.

Hopefully the barbering students are behaving for their substitutes. Cause Ms. J and her husband just finished the Berlin World Major Marathon.

So excited that we have started this journey with the June 2026 class of Barbers. Day 3 of class and they are sharing personal and professional goals. This class is full of faith, love , hope and incredible stories built by overcomers. There is experience and growth in so many areas with this class. Looking forward to be a part of their journey. Watch out world they will be coming for you soon.

Since 2020 Micah has been an official team member of MTC barbering. He was a work study student at MTI who integrated himself into our program. We have watched his growth and are so proud to watch him sprout his wings and fly. Not a day went by that he didn’t come into our classroom and remind us to be our best selves. We love you Micah and are so proud of you. Miss Rachell is crying happy tears for the man you are becoming. You are loved and will truly be missed.

Attention prior students of the program it’s almost time. Our boy Micha is leaving the campus soon. We are having a surprise party for him on August 28th at 1:30 pm in the barbering classroom. Anybody who has been a part of our program either as a student or a client probably knows Micah. He’s been in the work study program on the MTI campus and has been an honorary member of barbering from several years back. He brings so many smiles to people involved with our class. As of the 29th, he will be done with school and we won’t get to enjoy his smiling face, kind words, incredible hugs and inspiring words. So if you’d like to join us to celebrate Micah, it’s an open invitation check in at the front desk and come to the barbering classroom for some cake and beverages to celebrate our boy. I will have plenty of tissues on hand.

Step 1 down, straight razor practical complete. 90 degree practical completed and passed as well. Tomorrow is their hair and beard transformation so excited to see the results.
