Dance Divine is a Christian ballet school dedicated to praising God through the art of classical ballet.
Our inspiration comes from Psalm 149:3 which exhorts us to, "Let us praise His name with dancing." Dance Divine was founded in 1982 by Ana Jacobs in order to train classical dancers for this purpose. Each year, original ballets based on Bible stories are choreographed and showcased at an annual performance. ✨ Summer Workshop 2026 ✨
Summer Workshops - two, three week ballet intensives with supplementary dance education workshops. It is open to dancers who have trained at least one year in Beginner Ballet B through students at the pre-professional level.
Dancers will focus on classical ballet technique in classes twice weekly, and participate in workshops on topics such as ballet terminology, nutrition, stage makeup and choreography. The workshops will culminate in a student choreography showcase at Dance Divine’s studio.
Tuition is $210.00 for each workshop. Your child will be registered when tuition is received. Please specify which workshop your student will be attending. They may attend both workshops.
