People are already asking when we’re opening for the season this year. So Here is a little update of what’s going on at the farm and what to expect.
We’ve planted 150 new bushes this year! They won’t have fruit for a couple of years because we have to prune the blossoms to make sure the plants put all their energy into developing a healthy root system. But you can expect at least double what we have had the last few years to be available in the coming years. We hope to keep planting more every year.
******We plan to open up around Memorial Day for this years season and stay open u til the Fourth of July or until the berries are gone.
We have moved the Aquaponics system and the Worm farm to the front to create an outdoor class room and it is totally off grid. Lots to learn.
