Tonight, we had the privilege of celebrating our outstanding 6th and 7th grade Falcons during our Awards Assembly! 🦅

We recognized students who earned Honor Roll for the year, achieved Perfect Attendance, and were honored for their accomplishments in their individual classes. Their hard work, perseverance, and dedication continue to make us proud each and every day.

It is always a special evening when we get the opportunity to celebrate not only the success of our students, but also the incredible staff who support them and the amazing families who encourage them along the way.

Congratulations to all of our Falcons on an incredible year of achievement. The future is bright because of you!

🚢 We’ve officially made it back into port as we wrapped up the final day of Staff Appreciation Week at Fort King Middle School! Our theme, “Too Fly to be Grounded,” turned into the perfect cruise experience as we celebrated an incredible week honoring our amazing staff. We closed things out in style with hoagies from Wawa, sweet treats from Jeremiah’s Ice, and frozen custard from Culver’s. 🍦🥪🚢

This week was all about recognizing the dedication, passion, and heart our staff pours into our students every single day. The educators and staff at Fort King work tirelessly to ensure our students are learning, growing, and thriving, and we are so grateful for all they do.

Thank you to everyone who helped make this week special, and most importantly, thank you to our incredible Fort King staff for keeping our school moving full speed ahead every single day! 💙💛

Wow! What a great week so far recognizing our staff for all their hard work and dedication. As we continue on our cruise with a Fun Day at Sea today, here are some photos from our stops in Mexico for Cinco de Mayo and Italy where we had some pizza, salad, and a special guest appearance with Mario!

What a great night recognizing our past and present students for their achievements this year at our annual FFA banquet in conjunction with Vanguard High School FFA. From youth fair projects to competitions, our students can do it all.

We will definitely miss our 8th graders who are moving to high school next year, but can’t wait to see the accomplishments one year for now as the new officers are already planning a great year for success.

A special thank you to the Alumni Chapter for their generous scholarship donations to those students who worked with the chapter animals to hopefully have their own in the coming future.

What an amazing night! The Falcon Band hosted their annual spring concert tonight and it was a packed house. The beginner band, concert band, marching band, and the color guard all performed amazingly! You could feel the energy all night as the bands played song after song. We were graced with solo performances, a drum line, and so much more. Thank you families for the endless hours of listening to your performer practice every night as they learn song after song. Thank you to each of the band members for your hard work and dedication as it showed through tonight. We heard what a SUPERIOR band sounds like. And lastly, thank you to Mr Eason! Our amazing band director who P-U-S-Hes all of our learners to do their best and work towards their potential. What an amazing night to be a Falcon.

Last night we recognized Coach Benjamin and Mr Crivaro for their amazing contribution to our school at the Fitness and Nutrition in Schools Recognition Banquet. Mr Crivaro’s agriscience classes grow and donate vegetables to the MCPS Food Service department throughout the year. Coach Benjamin leads our FANs club at the school and was recognized as the Club Sponsor of the Year!
