NEW STAFF AT OWCM! After a rigorous search process, we are pleased to announce the arrival of our new Program Coordinator, Sayanth Shajith! After some consulting work earlier this year, we overhauled the position, expanded it to full-time, and set out looking for the leader and partner who will help us bring this beloved program into its next chapter. A 2026 Oberlin College graduate with a passion for food and community, we are thrilled to have Sayanth on the team. Come join us for dinner soon! Monday/Thursday: dine-in service, 5:00-5:45. Tuesday/Friday: take-out meals, 5:00-5:30.

The Mission Endowment Board of Christ Episcopal Church offers a limited number of mini-grants (typically $250-$500) for qualifying organizations doing benevolent/charitable work in the community. Applications are available by calling the parish office at (440) 775-2501. Deadline for applications for the fall cycle is August 26.

Grants are also available to members of Christ Church for continuing education, mission work, or other worthy initiatives.

Oberlin Weekday Community Meals will be CLOSED June 18 & 19 in observance of the federal holiday. However, we are proud to partner once again with our friends at Oberlin Community Services in support of their annual Juneteenth cookout! Join your friends from OWCM for dinner Thursday, June 18 at the Cooper Community Center instead!

The OCS Juneteenth Cookout is NEXT WEEK and you're invited! This event is FREE and open to EVERYONE. Come get some ribs, burgers, hot dogs, mac and cheese, green beans, and drinks... and enjoy music, games, and lots of fun with us! The annual cookout is about bringing the whole community together in the spirit of Juneteenth, celebrating our diversity and cooperation. Hope to see you there!
