This fall break, IYS organised service trips to Michigan and Tennessee.

Eleven students from Oberlin spent the week working with Sonia Brown, who runs a community outreach program from her own home(Auntie Na's House) in Detroit. We spent the week painting murals, organizing books,putting up halloween decorations, fixing old bicycles and creating a performance space in Auntie Na's music room. Thank you to everyone who made this a memorable and rewarding week. Thank you Auntie Na!!
