"The Versatile MD"

Dawn Bravata is a doctor of internal medicine at the VA hospital in Indianapolis. In addition to practicing clinically, she is interested in improving the treatment of cerebrovascular disease. Her areas of research, funded by the National Institute of Health and the Veterans Affairs Association include assessing the effectiveness of therapeutic intervention in patients with stroke or TIA, improving the care of said patients and effectively diagnosing and treating co-morbidities in patients with cerebrovascular disease.

Her presentation entitled "The Versatile MD" will focus on exposing some of the lesser-known options open to MDs including stories from many of her colleagues and friends from Medical School.
