Congratulations Osama!

Congrats to fourth-year Osama Abdelrahman, who has been recognized by the Arab America Foundation's 30 Under 30 List. The initiative spotlights accomplished young Arab Americans in all fields who have made significant achievements in their careers and in their communities. All awardees are under the age of 30, excel in their industry, and are engaged effectively in the world around them.

At Oberlin, Abdelrahman is majoring in economics and computer science. Earlier this year, he was selected to participate in the Ashby Business Scholars, and he was a recipient of the $10,000 David Projects for Peace prize to extend the impact of an organization he founded to connect Egypt’s high school students with purposeful extracurricular activities.

The Computer Science Department at Oberlin College invites applications for two full-time tenure track faculty positions in the College of Arts and Sciences. We seek candidates with teaching and research interests in any area of Computer Science, and especially encourage candidates with interest in theory, systems and machine learning/data science to apply.
