Fall semester is right around the corner and so are our fall productions! This semester we have 9 to 5, Portal: The Unofficial One-Act Play, The World is Only Magic, and Grisling Hall. Auditions for 9 to 5, Portal, and The World is Only Magic will be held within the first two weeks of fall semester.

9 to 5 auditions will be held 9/5 and 9/6.

Portal auditions will be held 9/4.

The World is Only Magic auditions will be held 9/4 and 9/5.

Audition sign up info will be out soon so look out for that! OMTA will be holding a general interest and election meeting within the first couple weeks of the semester— more info to come!!

Calling all actors, writers, and directors!

OMTA & OSTA's Spring 24-Hour Theater Festival is happening in just a few weeks on Friday, May 27th to Saturday, May 28th (9pm to 9pm).

In this energy-filled weekend, writers will spend the first 12 hours writing an original play or musical, and in the next 12 hours, directors & actors will produce the show. This will culminate in all of the shows being performed back-to-back for anyone to see!

Audition for the OMTA spring showcase! A showcase is a musical cabaret in which all songs abide by a theme. Our theme for the spring showcase is Dream Roles! What role made you want to do theater? Is there a role you've always wanted to play but never had the chance to? Sign up for the Dream Roles Showcase and perform as your favorite musical theatre character!

Some example songs:

Trina from Falsettos, "I'm Breaking Down"
Eva from Bring It On: The Musical, "Killer Instinct"
Clyde or Buck from Bonnie & Clyde, "When I Drive"

Audition to be in the cast of this song cycle directed by Lexi Sendall ‘25! Virtual and in person auditions are available. Virtual auditions are to be submitted by 2/23 and in person will take place 2/24 and 2/25. If you like comedy, love, or competitive rock-paper-scissors, this play is for you! The Dance of Hands opens 12/7 at 8 PM in the Cat in the Cream Coffeehouse. There will be two shows: 12/7 @ 8 PM and 12/8 @ 8 PM. Doors open at 7:30 PM for both shows. Admission is free! This show is not suitable for kids.
