This is where our story ends and the beginning of a new one is being written. As we celebrated The Academy's 15th birthday this month, this
verse has continued to make its way into my heart.
For everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under heaven.
A time to be born and a time to die. A time to plant and a time to uproot. A time to kill and a time to heal. A time to tear down and a time to build up.
A time to weep and a time to laugh. A time to mourn and a time to dance. A time to cast away stones and a time to gather stones together. A time to
embrace and a time to refrain from embracing. A time to seek and a time to lose. A time to keep and a time to cast away. A time to tear and a time to
mend. A time to be silent and a time to speak. A time to love and a time to hate. A time for war and a time for peace. -Ecclesiastes 3:1-8
The last 15 years at The Academy have been full of times with all that is mentioned in that verse. The Academy has been a home away from home for many families and staff over the years, including my own. What once was a dream I had became a reality and we could not have made it without the amazing support of so many administrators, teachers, and families so this is a really big thank you to all of you who were a part of our story. Although this chapter for The Academy is now coming to a close, it's purpose couldn't be more clear. Every new beginning comes from some other beginning's end and this may be the end for The Academy but the beginning for Cedars Preschool at Oakwood is very exciting. Mack Vinton and I handpicked the new owners as we were confident the changes would be minimal, they would enhance what we
had already created and most importantly they would take care of the staff and families who have trusted us for so long. I am thankful that each of
you were a part of my story, you will always hold a special place in my heart. Thank you for trusting me and allowing me to be a part of your story.
I will miss you and hope you will stay in touch.
Signing off,
Staci Vinton
