Welcome to our New Occupational Therapist Erin Gimar!!

I've been an Occupational Therapist for 18 years and with SSD for 10 years. I am a die hard Cardinals fan and have a goal to visit all the MLB stadiums with my brother. On the weekends, I enjoy riding my biking, hiking, and spending time with my new puppy Madison. I'm a big travel ju**ie and this summer was able to check Switzerland off my bucket list. I'm really excited to join the Mehlville family and am looking forward to getting to know the students at Blades Elementary!

Here's a look at the new parking lot at Blades!

Project complete: When the Facilities Steering Committee toured schools last year, one of the recommendations made by the group of parents, staff members and community members was for the district to improve school parking lots and exterior lighting. We’re excited to share that work on both projects has concluded at Blades Elementary School!

Blades was one of several schools to have its parking lot refinished this summer, along with Oakville Elementary School, Buerkle Middle School and Oakville High School. Additionally, Blades is one of 11 schools to receive improved exterior lighting to keep families and community members safe.
