A road map back to life

That's all you want

That's all you need

Someone to tell you how to get out of this hell you are livng in

You've been blindsided and they tell you to get over it

Your life has been destroyed and they tell you to move on

You're sitting in a pile of emotional rubble and they tell you to put it behind you

It all feels so patronizing....
Get over it.... Move on.... Put it all behind you???
How the hell do you do that?

Oh, yeah and don't forget that all you need in order to do that is time 🙄

You've tried it all. I know....

You've tried to ignore your feelings

You've put on the happy face

You've tried to put it out of your mind

You've even given yourself time... what's it been? Weeks? Months? Years?

Maybe you've even tried to date

Exactly! Nothing has worked!

It's still there...
the heaviness
the numbness
the thoughts... just bubbling under the surface

What if I told you, you don't have to live there anymore?
What if I told you there is a way to rebuild?
What if I told you there is a way to move on?
What if I told you there is a way to get over it?
And what if I told you, you already have everything you need?

How do I know all of this?

I was once lost and in need of that roadmap you are lookng for. I asked everyone I could think of to help me make the pain go away. It took me a long time to figure it out and out the pieces back together. I made a lot of mistakes along the way. And I learned...

I learned the specific steps it takes to get through this pain, feel whole and love life again.

Hey beautiful...

Yes, I'm talking to you...

The girl with the broken smile...
The girl who believes she'll never feel whole again...
The girl who believes she wasn't good enough...

The worst is over.

Yes, you heard me, the worst is over.

Yes, he left.
Yes, your life has changed.
No, your future is not going to be what you thought it would.

Yes, it sucks!

You are left wondering what went wrong.
Wondering what she has that you didn't.
Wondering what you could have done differently.
You are left with more questions than answers.
You are left blaming yourself.

Here's what I wonder....

Who told you he was the only one who can make you happy?

Who told you being married was the only way to feel whole?

Who told you life ends here?

Who told you you aren't enough?

Who told you aren't loveable?

Who told you you are broken?

Who told you you are responsible for his choices?

Here's what I want you to know....

These beliefs are LIES!

They are lies that have been created to try to make sense out of things that don't make sense.

These are the lies that hold you back from being happy.

These are the lies that hold you back from living.

These are the lies that keep you stuck.

Truth is.... You can be happy on your own.
Truth is.... You are whole just the way you are.
Truth is.... You are more than enough.
Truth is.... You are loveable.
Truth is.... You are worthy.
Truth is.... You might be a little bent, but you are NOT broken.
Truth is.... Life starts here!

You also need to know this...

Your future is going to be full of adventures.
Your future is going to be full of love.
Your future is going to be full of happiness.

Your future is going to be FULL!

I can tell you this for sure, because I was you.
