https://youtu.be/gfSQOPm_qmg
Normally I don't mention my political leanings but the democrats in Virginia seem to have lost their minds concerning education. Better for us to continue to improve education for all students and give all students the opportunity to achieve their individual potential.

It is with great sadness, we announce the loss of our beloved Rick Dalby of Falls Church, Virginia.
James Frederick “Rick” Dalby, Jr. age 62, passed away on Tuesday, September 9, 2020 at Fairfax Hospital in Fairfax, Virginia after a long illness. He was born June 15, 1958 in Newport News, Virginia to James F. and Nancy (Everett) Dalby. He was a 1976 graduate of Newburgh Free Academy in Newburgh, NY and the State University of New York at Albany in 1981. He married Kate vanSchaick October 31, 1981. Together they founded Dalby Tutoring, Inc of McLean, VA which they ran until June 2014. Known for his great wit, intellect, and ability to teach, he attracted thousands of students over the years, helping them not only understand difficult academic subjects, but also how to deal better with the pains of adolescence. One parent wrote on hearing of his illness: the boys and I are so sad to hear this news. As you know, they adored him. If he can hear you, let him know how much he meant to them and their success and self-esteem in junior and high school.
Rick is survived by his former wife, Kate; his father, James F.Dalby, Sr; his brothers Fleet (wife Lisa), Joseph (wife Dianne); his son, Pallas (wife Candice) Lee-vanSchaick; daughters Logan Horne (husband Eric), Bess Dalby, and Morgan Dalby; and his grandchildren Jack, Ava, Sam, Noah, Charlotte, Tommy, Teddy, Daniel, Helena, James, Max, Isabelle, Sally, Gabriel, Lavrans, and Bruce.
Funeral mass to be determined.
