The first day of school is almost here, Eagles! 🦅💛 We are so excited to welcome everyone back for a brand-new school year filled with new adventures, new friendships, and endless opportunities to discover your spark! ✨

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who joined us for our awesome Teacher Meet & Greet and Back-to-School Block Party and our behind the scenes crew that made it happen! 💙 Your smiles, energy, and excitement made it such a wonderful way to kick off the year. We loved seeing so many of our Waples Mill families together!

Now it’s time to get those backpacks ready, set those alarms, and get some rest! 😉 We can’t wait to see our Eagles SOAR tomorrow! 🦅✨

We had so much fun at our last kindergarten playdate! Thanks to all who came and a special thank you to Kristen Griffith for organizing and Lynn Zahralban for the snacks and bubbles! We can't wait to see our rising kindergarteners again!

2026 MATH KANGAROO COMPETITION RESULTS:

This past March, 62 Waples Mill students from grades 1-6 participated in the Math Kangaroo Competition, a national competition in math. The exam was very challenging and tested mathematical skills and logical reasoning by grade level. We commend all students for participating and wish to congratulate our school’s top performers Evan Huan (2nd grader who competed at the 3rd/4th grade level) and Raewoon Kim (2nd grade) for winning awards and ranking Top 11 or better in the nation and Top 5 or better in the state! Evan won an additional prize from Math Kangaroo for his Top 6 finish in the nation! Thank you to all who participated and to the PTA for organizing this event.
