Harvard College accepted 3.43 percent of applicants to the Class of 2025 — 1,968 students out of the 57,435 who applied — marking the lowest admissions rate in College history in a year that saw an unprecedented surge in applications.

Oakton Academy is looking for a part-time Educational Administrative Coordinator and Office Manager.This job will take approximately 10-15 hours per week; and 40 or more hours per month. The hourly pay rate for this role ranges from $16 - $20 depending on the applicant's educational credential, and required working experience.

Requirements:

-effective communication skills for interacting with parents, students, and staff
-interest, passion for education; friendly and positive attitude
-minimum bachelor's degree, candidates in master or PhD degree are considered
-2 recommendation letters and reference
-work on site (Saturday 9 - 3 pm, subject to change based on the office's need); or/and Sunday (2-5 pm)

Roles and Responsibilities:

-point of contact for parents and Oakton Academy program director
-process paperwork on registration and tuition
-return parents' phone calls and emails
-distribute emails to parents and students
-communicate with teachers, program managers, directors, and students
-create and design program flyers, advertisements, and brochures
-support Oakton Academy's Open Houses, Information Sessions, seminars and other special events
-effectively and closely communicate with parents, teachers, and students
