Back-to-School Countdown: One last day of summer! We're excited to welcome nearly 7,750 students back to school tomorrow! Parents, drop your BTS questions below. Don’t forget to send your First Day pictures to [email protected]. Download your First Day signs today!

The night before...
- Lay out the first-day outfit
- Print “First Day” sign
- Charge up your camera or phone
- Pack lunch or check menus on Nutrislice
- Set alarm clocks
- Get a good night’s sleep

The morning of...
- Make breakfast at home or plan to grab FREE breakfast at school
- Take lots of pictures. Parents, make sure you get in some was well!
- Leave a bit early
- Enjoy the moment!

Back-to-school countdown: Our yellow school buses will be picking up students soon, and drivers are never more important to slow down and pay attention than when kids are present – especially before and after school.
- TRANSPORTATION REMINDER: Double check your child’s bus number, pick-up time and pick-up location. Transportation schedules may change during the first few weeks of school, it is important to be prepared for any slight alteration in your schedule.

Remember...
- It is illegal in all 50 states to pass a school bus that is stopped to load or unload children.
- If you're driving behind a bus, allow a greater following distance than if you were driving behind a car. It will give you more time to stop once the yellow lights start flashing.
- If the yellow or red lights are flashing and the stop arm is extended, traffic must stop.
- For the safety of all students, families, and staff, children should not ride eBikes or similar electric vehicles on school property outside of school hours. Spring-Ford’s school grounds and facilities are intended to provide a safe environment for students and visitors, and use of school property must not interfere with school operations, student activities, or pedestrian safety.
- Be alert at all times!

We rely on our Spring-Ford community to keep our kids safe, happy, and smiling (maybe even singing!) when they're waiting for the bus or walking to school.

Back-to-School countdown is on! Are you ready?
- PSQ: Check your ParentSquare Notifications. If you have Digest selected, you'll get all your school, teacher, or district messages at 6 p.m. Want to get your newsletters and posts immediately? Head into your PSQ Notification settings to make some adjustments.
- SCHEDULES: Familiarize yourself and your child with their daily schedule, whether it is at the elementary, intermediate, middle or high school level.
- SUPPLIES: Head to the dollar store for last-minute supplies. Check for great deals on pens and loose-leaf paper!
- SUMMER WORK: Some classes required summer work. Some assignments were lengthy, and students should plan accordingly.
- LUNCH ACCOUNTS: Fill up your child’s lunch account so they’re ready for the first day of school!
- DO SOMETHING FUN: Plan one last adventure before summer ends!

REMINDER: Elementary (K-4) schedules will be available on Skyward after 3 p.m. today, August 11th.
5th - 8th grade schedules will be available tomorrow, August 12th after 3 p.m.
9th - 12th grade schedules will be available Thursday, August 13th after 3 p.m.

Please note, teacher information, homerooms and schedules will not be available until your First Day Verification is complete. Parents/guardians may log into Skyward Family Access to complete the First Day Verification process. Families may complete the First Day Verification on a desktop or laptop computer, on a smartphone or tablet. Please contact your child's school with any FDV or Skyward questions before 3 p.m.

Whether you’re gathering with family and friends, or watching fireworks light up the night sky, we hope your day is filled with joy, gratitude, and safe celebrations.

Happy Father's Day to all the dads, stepdads, grandfathers, father figures, and bonus dads in our Spring-Ford community!

Today, we celebrate those who cheer from the sidelines, master the art of the Dad Joke, and know how to fix just about anything. Thank you for the early morning drop-offs, late-night talks, endless encouragement, and unwavering support that help our students learn, grow, and thrive. Whether you're teaching life lessons, helping with a science project, or embarrassing your kids with your dance moves, your impact reaches far beyond what you may realize.

Wishing all of our Spring-Ford dads a day filled with family, laughter, and perhaps a little time to enjoy the remote before someone asks, "Dad, can you help me with something?"

Juneteenth is a day of reflection and celebration of African American history and culture.
