This year has been an exciting journey for Oakland City Toastmasters! We started at a cozy conference room of the First Foundation Bank and moved into a beautiful space with amazing views of Lake Merritt. Along the way, we welcomed new members, watched them grow in public speaking and leadership, and supported each other through every speech and constructive evaluation. Our club continues to offer hybrid meetings so everyone can join—whether in person or online.
If you’ve ever wanted to improve your public speaking, communication skills, build confidence, or connect with a supportive community, come visit us! We meet in person on the first and third Tuesdays from 12–1 PM at 1999 Harrison St., 17th Floor, Oakland, and on Zoom every Tuesday.

Happy New Year! Our first Open House of the year will be on Tuesday Jan. 16 at 12:00PST. It is a hybrid meeting, so show up in person or join us online.
Our District 57 Division Director, Cynthia Stott, DTM, will be our keynote speaker. Cynthia is going to tell us how Toastmasters can earn you a promotion and more money in your career, and she will share with us a powerful story about that! Cynthia is a Distinguished Toastmaster, International Speech and Confidence Coach and Global Visibility Influencer with over 55K followers in 140+ countries.
