Our First FLIP (Friends Learning thru Inclusive Play) Playgroup was so much fun! The kids loved the art activity and parachute game led by Maggie our OT.

Join us for the next FLIP playgroup, where PK-Kinder children of ALL abilities are welcome to play & build kindergarten-readiness skills together.

¡Nuestro primer grupo de juego FLIP (Amigos aprendiendo a través del juego inclusivo) fue muy divertido! A los niños les encantó la actividad artística y el juego de paracaídas dirigido por Maggie, nuestra OT.

Happy last day of Summer Kinder/TK Bridge! Our youngest scholars are ready to slide into Kinder AND TK this fall. They learned, played and socialized for the month of June. Congrats scholars see you on the first day of school, Aug 12.

Acorn Woodland preschool held a spring cleaning” day where families helped us do a deep clean and inventory of our toys, chairs, frequently used items, etc.
or families are amazing! They took it upon themselves to form a promotion celebration committee to organize and execute a party for the two classes. Love our Acorn Woodland community!

Special thanks to Ms Mila who is constantly going above, beyond, sideways and upside down for our school and families. We love you so much!

Any day we get to spend with our amazing early childhood educators is a great day!

This morning at ECE's all-staff PD, social justice educator Debbie LeeKeenan guided our early childhood educators in thought-provoking provocations as we screened the film "Reflecting on Anti-bias Education in Action: The Early Years." Debbie and the film set up the day for rich and hard conversations centered on risk-taking, self-reflection, critical thinking, and looking at our biases.

Seeing everyone for who they are is fundamental to early childhood education. Each child is unique with their own story, strengths, and challenges. Recognizing and celebrating these differences creates an inclusive environment that nurtures a sense of belonging. In doing so, we empower our young learners to embrace their identities and appreciate the rich diversity that surrounds them.
